In succession to the development of industrial production technologies of SBS and SIS above 10000 tons, the Synthetic Rubber Division of Baling developed successfully the production technology of thermoplastic rubber SEBS owning the intellectual property. SEBS is of excellent aging resistance and used for highly elastic products, packing material (tool handles) polymer modification,adhesives,sealant,meddical treatment equipment and fillers of wires and cables.

SEBS具有較好的耐溫性能，其脆化溫度≤－60℃，最高時(shí)使用溫度達(dá)到149℃，在氧氣氣氛下其分解溫度大于270℃。SEBS有優(yōu)異的耐老化性能，在人工加速老化箱中老化一星期其性能的下降率小于10%。SEBS有優(yōu)良的電性能，其介電損耗在一千赫為1.3×10，一兆赫為2.3×10；體積電阻是一分鐘9×10Ω-cm,二分鐘2×10Ω-cm。SEBS具有良好的溶解性能和共混性能，其溶解度參數(shù)在7.2-7.6之間。

●     SEBS通過與聚丙烯、環(huán)烷油或氫化環(huán)烷油、白油等混合可生產(chǎn)邵A0-95度的彈性體，此類彈性體有優(yōu)異的表面質(zhì)感和耐候抗老化性能，可廣泛用于軟接觸材料如手柄、文具、玩具、運(yùn)動(dòng)器材的握手、密封條、電線電纜、牙刷柄及其它包覆材料等。

●     SEBS通過化學(xué)改性或共混于增韌尼龍（PA6）、聚碳酸脂（PC）聚苯醚（PPO）聚脂（PET、PBT）、聚丙烯（PP）作塑料共混的相容劑等。

●     SEBS可用作工程塑料的相容劑，如作PE與PS相容劑。

●     SEBS與聚丙烯、白油阻燃劑等共混可用于生產(chǎn)電線電纜的護(hù)套或外表皮。

●     SEBS通過與碳五等石油樹脂配合可用于生產(chǎn)高檔粘膠劑、密封劑。

●     SEBS具有耐老化性能，可直接用于潤滑油粘度指數(shù)穩(wěn)定劑。
